The
Wash Station Supervisor series One (WSS-1) is ideal for business
who want to include hand washing as part of their safety program.
The WSS-1 is an entry-level hand wash management system designed
to increase and sustain the quality of hand washing while also
providing management with a total of completed 20-second HACCP
compliant washes.
The
WSS-1 is comprised of a touch-free faucet adapter (Pro-Sense)
and a touch-free soap despiser (Simplicity Plus), both of which
are integrated together via a Base (CPU) unit. The Base
unit is designed to guide a user through a complete hand wash
cycle, while at the same time monitoring the usage of the appropriate
device. Through the use of audible voice and LCD guided
instruction, the WSS-1 provides a complete and repeatable hand
wash process. While idle, the Base unit's LCD will display
the total number of accumulated HACCP compliant hand washes.
This count allows managers to track and monitor trends.
This data can then be compared with hand wash objectives thus
controlling the quantity of completed washes.
How
it works:
The WSS-1 is activated when a user places his/her hands
beneath the touch-free faucet for wetting. The user will
then be prompted to place his/her hands beneath the touch-free
soap dispenser. Once the dispenser is activated, the WSS-1
will disable the faucet for the duration of the HACCP compliant
20-second lather period. When the lather period is complete,
the WSS-1 will enable the faucet and prompt the user to rinse
his/her hands. When the user's rinse is complete the WSS-1
will increment the wash count by one. The new wash count
will then be displayed on the WSS-1's LCD. If a wash fails
to meet standards, the wash count will NOT be incremented and
the user will be prompted to wash again. Unlike dispensers
that only count the number of times soap was dispensed, the
WSS-1 counts completed HACCP compliant washes while providing
a safe touch-free environment.
Managers
can easily establish a baseline of total washes by day, week
or month. Thereafter, a quick glance can determine if
the increase in wash counts meets or exceeds expectations.
Example: If a baseline has been established at 12 washes
per employee per day and 10 employees work on a given day, then
the wash count should increment by a minimum 120 for that day.
The
WSS-1 makes hand wash management using group objectives easy.
If it is later determined that employee hand washes need to
be tracked on an individual basis, the modular design of the
WSS-1 allows it to easily expand into a full Pro-Giene system.
